Lifetime Warranty

Crown Collision Center hereby provides a national Limited Warranty on repairs performed by the shop. This national Limited Warranty is valid only for as long as you own the vehicle stated herein, and is for the person to whom this national Limited Warranty is granted and whose name appears herein and on the original work order. This is a labor only; fragmented four-part Limited Warranty, and stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are stated hereafter: 

METAL WORK: Crown Collision Center provides a lifetime warranty on all metalwork, to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration. The shop will repair and re-paint any metal work within warranted period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, lack of maintenance, additional repair or tear down in conjunction with additional damage or inspection of repairs, or care of the vehicle. 

PAINTING: Crown Collision Center has a manufacturer’s Warranty (BASF) for the lifetime, to the original owner, whose name appears herein and on the original work order, against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation. The shop will re-prime and re-paint the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby, when the claim is made within the warranted period, unless caused by or damaged by unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. 

MECHANICAL REPAIRS: Crown Collision Center provides a One (1) Year Limited Warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining to original collision damage, excluding wheel alignments, which will have a three (3) month, 4,000 mile warranty. The shop will re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted herby, when claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle. 

PARTS: Crown Collision Center provides a One (1) Year Limited Warranty, unless manufacturer warranty is less or more, on the new parts installed by or at the shop. The shop will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby, when the claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by or damage resulting from unreasonable use, teardown for additional damage or reinspect, maintenance, or care of the vehicle. 

Proper Maintenance Instructions 

  1.  Vehicle should be washed frequently and waxed at least every 6 months. 
  2.  Salt, chemicals, tree sap, environmental exposure and other foreign material must be removed immediately from vehicle's surfaces.
  3.  Dents, chips, and scratches are not covered by this warranty, and must be maintained at owner's expense.
  4.  Any damage caused by neglect, abuse, or misuse is not covered under this warranty. 

SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED: 

Incidental cost, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, lost wages, or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this Limited Warranty, nor are consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during repair. Also excluded are rust through, and/or damage caused by rusting of interior or exterior non-replaced panels not covered. 

This states all Limited Warranties made by the shop and contains the promises for which it will be responsible. 

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS: In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, the owner of the vehicle must do the following: 
A. Present the owner’s copy of this warranty document to the warrantor before requesting warranted repairs or parts. 
B. Have any warranted repair, adjustment, or inspection made only at the premises of the warrantor during normal business hours.

All Warranties implied by law, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, are hereby limited to the warranty period herein and shall expire at the end of such period.
